SCENES · SCN.03**
morphogen
A real reaction-diffusion simulation, the chemistry Alan Turing proposed for how nature draws its patterns, running live on the GPU. Two chemicals feed and kill each other into coral limbs, fat lobes, and labyrinth veins, and a mirror fold turns the growth into a symmetric mark that keeps drawing itself. Loud sections boil, quiet passages barely creep, and you can paint new growth straight onto the canvas with the mouse.
- ENERGY runs the chemistry
- BASS swells the lobes
- ACCENTS shift the pattern regime
