What pictures work?

Anything you can save or screenshot. JPEG, PNG, GIF and WebP work everywhere, and iPhone HEIC works in the Mac app.

Does it keep my colors?

Yes. The picture keeps its own colors in every mode, and Photism pulls a matching palette from it for the rest of the scene.

Can I use a video?

Yes. Drop a video and it loops as the source, or turn on your camera. Every mode works on both.

Do I need Ableton?

No. Any DAW that hosts VST3 or Audio Unit works: Live, Logic, FL, Bitwig, Reaper, Cubase. The standalone app needs no DAW at all.

Mac or Windows?

Both. macOS 11 or later, or Windows 10 or later. One purchase covers every format on both.
