The scene’s technical canon, procedural everything, effects sequenced tightly to music, real-time as a discipline, trained a generation of graphics programmers and fed directly into game engines and shader culture.
UNESCO-recognized as heritage in several countries, the scene continues, and its central aesthetic conviction (that the machine performing live beats playback) is the entire premise of real-time visuals.
